Increasing mobility and the ever more complex networking of IT systems and information has seen a significant change in the types of attack aimed at IT networks and computer systems. Today, the ability to secure business- and administrative-relevant processes and data is a vital strategic issue in which individual measures no longer are no longer sufficient. Based on the Cyber Resilience Best Practices guide it offers practical knowledge to enhance existing management strategies and help align cyber resilience with IT operations, security and incident management. RESILIA™ is the Cyber Resilience Best Practice Framework of Axelos. This practical seminar builds on the knowledge of the Foundation course.

RESILIA™ is not a technical safety framework, but a management tool geared to the needs of the business to ensure the integration of these skills within all service management processes and systems.

The purpose of the Practitioner qualification is to understand what effective cyber resilience looks like and what the risks and issues that can easily affect cyber resilience. Candidates will understand how to get the best balance of risk, cost, benefits and flexibility within an organization.

Training Objectives

  • To be able to effectively identify and mange cyber risks in your organization.
  • The confidence to be able to implement the right level of balanced risk management.
  • The knowledge to effectively implement a cyber resilience lifecycle within your organization.

This training is a combined offering for both trainings Foundation and Practitioner in RESILIA™ Cyber Resliience. The first three days cover Cyber Resilience Foundation and the Foundation Exam. The next two days is the Practitioner Training with the exam.

Course topic

ISO/IEC 27001 provides a model for the creation, implementation, use, testing, maintenance and improvement of an information security management system. The establishment and deployment of the system are geared to the needs, objectives, information assets, security requirements, processes and other characteristics of an organisation.

As a formal specification of the standard, ISO/IEC 27001 determines and encompasses the requirements for an information security management system:

  • Information security management system
  • Management responsibility
  • Internal ISMS audits
  • Management audit of the ISMS
  • ISMS optimisation
  • Control objectives and controls

The unique aspects of cloud security (privacy) are covered by ISO/IEC 27018.
